TOWNEE

Townee is a San Francisco area musical project created by singer-songwriter Tony Venuto in 2023. It is raw indie rock storytelling stitched with pop hooks. Bass player Tim Lefebvre carries the groove and Tori Elliott supplies the harmonies. Drummers include Victor Indrizzo (on 'Walls Crashing' and 'City and Sand'), Gary Novak (on 'Imperflections') and Eyal Satat (on '20 Years'). Those four albums were originally released with the artist name "Tony Venuto",  but in 2026 were updated to the name "Townee".

Townee does not use AI, autotune or chase the latest production trends. The songs are imperfect human reflections on life. Committed to releasing a track every 8 weeks and an album every calendar year, Townee is always changing and growing.
